The Redlands Crematorium and Memorial Gardens is a purpose-built facility ensuring you of the very best funeral care.
Our 140-seat chapel is a modern space that includes a beautiful glass window looking out to the sky creating a peaceful calming environment. The view from inside the chapel across the gardens and natural bushland is quietly calming and a special place to say goodbye to a loved one.
We also have a beautiful running waterway located alongside the chapel, 2 arrangement rooms, a viewing room, a fully-catered refreshments lounge and opening later in the year will be our landscaped gardens with a variety of memorialisation options.
As the facility is located in a quiet rural area there is an abundance of native animal & bird life including a family of friendly Wallabies, which add to the peacefulness of the whole environment.
We believe the Redlands Crematorium and Memorial Gardens are definitely the region’s most outstanding funeral venue.
Live Web Streaming
For those far away who are unable to attend a funeral, you can view the funeral service over the Internet.
If the funeral service is being conducted in our Chapel, you may wish to take up the option of broadcasting the funeral service on the internet. This broadcast is NOT accessible to the general public as the broadcast can only be accessed by those to whom the family gives the personalised password. To access the Internet Broadcast service you will require a computer with internet access.

Your preferred music & photo/video tributes
Our Chapel has the facilities to play your chosen music or photo/video tributes at the service but we do ask that material be supplied in the correct format and that it be tested prior to the service. Instructions on preparing these files are available for download here.

Viewing prior to service
Whilst viewing the deceased is not for everyone, it is nonetheless a very important part of the funeral process for those who choose to say goodbye once the funeral director has prepared a loved one for the funeral. Experts tell us a viewing helps one to accept the death and is a good first step in healing the grief that follows after a person passes away.
At Redlands Crematorium, you can choose to have a public viewing for family, friends, and mourners in the peaceful environment of our Chapel. Alternatively, for those occasions when the Chapel is in use, or if a family simply requires a very private place to spend some time with their loved one, our viewing room with an atmosphere suitably softened by appropriate and tasteful décor will add a feeling of comfort for our families.
Witnessing the cremation
With Australia’s development as a multi-cultural society, our understanding of the needs of all the various cultures and creeds is a vital part of our ability to provide meaningful funeral services for all families.
It may come as a surprise to some but witnessing the coffin going into the cremator is an important part of the funeral rites for some cultures. Older crematoria are not designed for this and need to allow such people into the cremator room to witness the coffin entering the cremator.
Our cremation facility has a special room with a connecting window adjacent to the cremator room to accommodate the viewing of the insertion of the coffin into the cremator. The room is appropriately and comfortably appointed to soften the impact for our families during what may sometimes be a confronting experience.
